Application checklist

Work through the steps in order and tick them off. Your ticks are saved only in this browser, so you can come back to it.

Requirements follow the TfL Private Hire Vehicle Driver's Handbook, version 1.0, 30 September 2021; fees follow our fee data, last checked 2 Oct 2026. TfL's own pages are the final word, so check the licence page before you act. This list is a memory aid, not legal advice.

Pair it with the licence cost timeline to put dates on each step.
